  • August excitement!

August is an exciting month. Summer vacations, back to school organizing, completing summer projects, planning for winter vacations. Lots of activity this month. Our farmstead goat cheese is full of excitement as well! Slice the black pepper chevre on your grilled meats and veggies. Chunk any of the logs on a fresh summer salad. Our ginger goat cheese is delicious on a salad with peaches or watermelon. Find a new favorite -- or stay with a well known variety. Goat cheese adds protein and needed minerals to your summer meals. Our goat cheese loves to go on vacation. Pick up some logs and a easy to use tub for a trip to the beach or camping. Farmers Markets are in full swing. See more about our market schedule under The Store:Farmers Markets. Visit us at the markets.

The cheese is developing some new flavors as the grasses grow and the goats are grazing on different flora. Warm season grasses bring a sweeter flavor than the fresh grass of spring. Our 2 year old buck Moses is looking sleek and shiny, prepping for his task in a month.

Our ON-FARM Store is OPEN - Wednesday through Sunday, 7 am - 7 pm. Come get the spring cheese - creamy, fresh and sweet - KIds are getting bigger and very active. They will get some additional pasture area this week.

Self guided tours are free and open during daylight hours, Wed. - Sun. Guided tours are available by appointment only. See Dooryard/Tours section.
