TOUR OPTIONS:

All are welcome to Visit the Farm Wednesday through Sunday.

Advanced scheduling is not necessary for a self-guided tour.

Please adhere to the guidelines listed below.*

1.General Tour – Short tour of the farm, see the animals and facilities.
Lasts 15-20 minutes, no charge

2. Learning Tour – More involved tour of the farm, see and learn about the
animals and facilities.
Lasts 1 hour, $5/person with a minimum of $35. 

3. Educational Tour – Tour of the farm with a preselected educational component. Possible components include animal health/care, feeding, milking, cheese making, local marketing of agricultural products, financial aspects of a smaller agricultural business.
Lasts 1 1/2 hour, $7/person with a minimum of $75.

Tours must be scheduled in advance.  Contact us to schedule.

 *This is a working farm. For the animals and your safety–

**Please leave your dogs at home or in your car.
**Visit with the animals from
outside the barn and pasture area.
**Stay at least 3 feet away the electric fences.

  • Fall is here!

    The crisp morning air reminds us that we are in a place of movement. The change of seasons invigorates and moving into fall is one of the most invigorating. Colors of leaves take over the landscape, the blue sky is so blue, and even grasses take on a deep hue.

    The goats' milk has a depth to it, also, as they continue to graze the hayfield. We're about half way down the field. The depth is particularly noticed in the sweeter cheeses, such as Cranberry Orange and Australian Ginger. Enjoy these cheeses with apples, pears, winter squash and stuffed peppers.

    Farmers Markets remain in full swing. Fall crops are abundant. Start stocking up for the winter months. We continue to off our volume discount for cheese sales. Buy 4 or more goat cheeses and receive 10% off. Please place orders if you want a large quantity. email us at crystalbrookfarm@comcast.net at least 3 days before your market.     Coming to Sterling area to pick apples? Slip over to our farm and visit with the goats and pick up some cheese. Our ON-FARM Store is OPEN - Wednesday through Sunday, 7 am - 7 pm.

    Self guided tours are free and open during daylight hours, Wed. - Sun. Guided tours are available by appointment only. See Dooryard/Tours section.
